2K has just announced the release date of WWE 2K23, and the latest entry in the WWE 2K series of wrestling games is set to release on March 17th of this year, with early access on March 14th for those who purchase the Deluxe and Icon editions of the game. All editions of WWE 2K23 will feature the iconic wrestler and actor John Cena on the cover.

2K23 introduces quite a few new additions to the franchise. The game will feature WarGames, a popular WWE event that features wrestlers duking it out in a steel cage. This will also include “A unique new concept God 2K Showcase,” featuring actors taking on John Cena as his various competitors, with Cena himself narrating throughout. The Showcase will use what 2K calls “Slingshot Tech” to seamlessly transition between gameplay and live-action footage.
There are also various other new features for the game, such as additional GMs in MyGM, online multiplayer in MyFACTION, and additional support for its Creation Suite. With the game still a few months away from release, fans of the franchise won’t have to wait long before they get to see the champion.
In development at 2K Visual Concepts studio, WWE 2K23 is set to release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Stay tuned for more WWE2 2K23 coverage here on MP1st in the coming days.
