Want to know more about the upcoming The Last of Us TV series on January 15th? HBO Max has just released a short video featuring clips of behind-the-scenes footage from the TV show.
This is a very short view of the BTS footage, but it gives us an idea of how much work went into producing the show. take a look:
In the video, series writer, creator and producer Craig Mazin talks briefly about the adaptation. “When you’re adapting something like a video game, changes have to be made intelligently. We tell more. There’s so much in between,” he states. “It’s going to be beautiful, scary, but in the end, it’s enlightening.”
Since its official teaser trailer in September, we’ve learned a few things from the cast and crew of the show. Troy Baker, who originally played Joel in the video games, claimed that Pedro Pascal’s performance was so good that he wanted to recreate his performance. Naughty Dog co-president and writer Neil Druckman also hinted at a series covering The Last of Us Part 2 in the event of a second season.
With a week and a half until the show premieres on HBO Max, we’ll have to see if the series lives up to the hype.
