If you’ve been dying to play The Last of Us on PC, you’ll have to wait a little longer, as Naughty Dog has announced that The Last of Us Part I PC version has been pushed back by a few weeks, and it’s new release date is now March 28th.

This announcement was made on Twitter by the studio in which he wrote a letter to fans:

Let’s get to it: We first announced that The Last of Us Part I PC release would be on March 3rd, but we neglected to push its release date back just a few weeks; It will now be released on March 28th. We at the studio have been absolutely blown away by the outpouring of love and support for The Last of Us in recent weeks. Hearing your love for the HBO adaptation, seeing your beautiful shots in the shooting mode, and learning about how the world and characters our studio created nearly a decade ago continues to reach new and old fans alike, floored us every day. We know many of you have revisited the story that started it all with The Last of Us Part I on the PlayStation 5 console, and we understand that many of you were excited to jump in – some for the first time – when Part I arrives. PC.

And so we want to make sure that the premiere of The Last of Us Part I for PC will be in the best possible condition. These extra few weeks will allow us to ensure that this version of The Last of Us meets your standards and ours. We’re so excited to bring The Last of Us Part I to a new platform, reach new and returning players with Joel Vallee’s unforgettable survival story, and we hope you’ll continue to look forward to its release on PC on March 28th.
