After years of development and delays since its announcement in 2017, Atomic Heart has finally gone gold. The dystopian sci-fi shooter is set to launch next month, but the latest announcement has revealed that it’s just waiting for its February 21st release date.

The news broke through Mondfish’s official Twitter account.

For those unfamiliar with the term, “going gold” means that a video game has finally finished development and is awaiting its official release date. In other words, the atomic heart is in an intact state.

Along with the announcement, Mundfish also released a new trailer for Atomic Heart, but it’s a bit different from the usual video game trailer. While game trailers often show cinematics or gameplay, this one is much more stylish, with the video showing all of the different elements of Atomic Heart’s unlocked sections connected in a vibrant 3D map. take a look:

Here is the description of the video in English:

What do you say to an unusual take on the world of the atomic heart? We’ve traditionally featured screenshots and videos of the game’s locations, but have you ever seen the game’s non-open world connection system before?

Of course, we won’t really be able to understand what many of the structures or shapes refer to until we get to play the game, but the trailer does provide an interesting perspective on the game’s structure and design.
