The gods have faced many threats across the battlefield, but nothing can prepare them to face the dangers of the multiverse! Battle against Nicole Bolas as some of the most iconic characters in Magic: The Gathering as @mtg joins forces with SMITE!

As MTG is one of the most popular fantasy IPs, this is an exciting collaboration for both MTG and SMITE fans. With skins for various Planeswalkers such as Karan, Liliana Vess, and Chandra Nallar, the event is shaping up to be the game’s biggest crossover yet.

Another announcement also makes one of the game’s jungle bosses a playable god. Surtr, who has been taken down by players for a decade in the game, will now be playable as a god himself. Here is the official announcement video:

Sorter’s abilities will allow him to summon prisoners, create rings of fire, and even become a meteor that will “crash from the sky”. The trailer depicts Sorter dying repeatedly, a reference to players knocking him down in the game.

SMITE is now playable on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC.
