If you thought Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs were bigger than the previous generation, think again. Recent leaks of RTX 4090 Ti images reveal that the GPU is much larger than the regular 4090, at least vertically.
These pictures from @Zed__Wang on Twitter Show you what a big beast the 4090 Ti is. take a look:

You’ll notice that the Founders Edition of the 4090 Ti has a whopping four slots, which means it will take up a lot more space in your computer case than other 40-series GPUs. For reference, the RTX 4090 Founders Edition only uses three slots, as you can see below.
You should also pay attention to the vertical arrangement of the ports, which may make a multi-monitor setup easier or more difficult depending on how you arrange things at home. Well-known hardware leaker kopite7kimi also revealed the specifications of the 4090 Ti in a tweetwhich are as follows:
- RTX 4090 Ti
- PG136/139-SKU310
- 18176FP32
- 96M L2
- 24Gbps 24G GDDR6X
- Total power of the board ~600W
A lot more details are still known about the card, such as whether or not it will support HDMI 2.1, similar to their competitor AMD with their current 7000 series cards, as well as pricing, which we assume will push it close. For that $2000 MSRP. Not to mention the additional unknown specs, and how much performance cost it will have compared to the 4090. Let’s hope we’re not that far from an official announcement.
What do you think about the reported RTX 4090 Ti leaks? Would you upgrade your computer with it? Let us know!
