The Year of the Rabbit is upon us, and Overwatch 2 is celebrating Lunar New Year 2023 with a seasonal event. The Overwatch 2 Lunar New Year 2023 event starts today, January 17th until January 31st and brings back the game modes along with some new rewards for 14 days.

Different game modes are highlighted in this event, including Capture the Flag, Capture the Flag Blitz and Bounty Hunter, with the Lijiang Tower map featuring festive fireworks for the event. Capture the Flag and its blitz version offer some team-based fun, while Bounty Hunter caters to those who prefer to go it alone and compete in a vacation for everyone.
Of course, no seasonal event would be complete without rewards, and this Lunar New Year event will feature rewards just by logging in. The Year of the Rabbit 2023 symbol is up for grabs when you enter the game, and completing four of the event challenges will net you a legendary Kkachi Echo skin.
You can even get a free victory pose and legendary skin for Moira by watching Twitch creators throughout the event. Two hours of watch time will net you the Roaring Lion victory pose, while another four hours will reward you with the legendary Mask Dancer skin.
