Need to update unrelated content quickly

It looks like Need for Speed Unbound players will have to wait a little longer before they get to know more about the game’s first content update. An official post reveals that we won’t hear anything about upcoming Need for Speed Unbound content from the developers until March.

The announcement was published in a Reddit post That’s on top of the game’s latest update, which introduced changes and balance fixes earlier today. At the bottom of the post it says:

As mentioned in December 2022, we will provide a series of free content updates that will include new features, experiences, content drops and more. We are currently hard at work delivering our first content update to Lakeshore and look forward to sharing more details with you in March!

The feedback, suggestions, bugs and issues you report – and your participation in the world Need for Speed Community – Keep driving our ongoing work and we’re excited to have you all along for the ride. So, buckle up and step on the gas – the road ahead is wide open.
See you at Lakeshore!

Since the post states that the details will be shared in March, it is unlikely that the content update itself will be out by March either. For reference, NFS Unbound was released back on November 29th last year, so it’s been over a month without a content update. Still, Criterion Games and EA promise free updates and content, so at least you won’t have to shell out extra money when the updates drop.
