Sony has announced the release date for MLB The Show 23 and it is set for March 28, 2023! Not only that, MLB The Show’s cover athlete was also revealed today, and it’s none other than Jazz Chisholm Jr.

The Standard Edition on PlayStation 4 is $59.99 USD/$79.99 CAD. The Standard Edition on PlayStation 5 is $69.99 USD/$89.99 CAD. The game will offer cross-platform progression and cross-play.

Cross-platform play, cross-saves and cross-progression continue for MLB The Show 23

Access all of your MLB The Show 23 progress and ticket inventory on any platform you own. Cross-platform play, cross-saves and cross-progress are back, letting you share your progress across PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch*. Cross-progression allows you to earn and use any content you’ve earned on any platform or generation (this doesn’t include PS5 and Xbox Series X|S exclusive features like Stadium Creator). With cross-saves you can transfer a save file for a Road to Show or Franchise mode to another console.**

More of the game’s features will be revealed in the coming days and weeks through the official fibrillation and YouTube The game channels. The Collector’s Edition will be revealed on February 2nd.

MLB The Show 23 will be released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch, and will even be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one.
