The next Genshin Impact 3.4 update, titled “The Exquisite Night Chimes,” has received a trailer, and is slated for January 18th. The event will reintroduce the annual Lantern Rite event as well as a new playable Dendro character in Yaoyao.

The trailer shows a music festival held during the Lantern Rite event, with Hu Tao and Shinyan rocking it out on stage. We also get a glimpse of Yaoyao’s talents as well as her pillar arm attack animations. There’s also a new area to explore in Sumeru, and popular sword user Dendro Alhatham will finally be playable.
Clarifications of version 3.4 “The Finest Bells of the Night”:
– Seasonal events and games that include a music festival and a traditional liwa performance on the occasion of Taybet’s New Year celebrations.
– A new area “Desert of Darkness” between sandstorms that brings more adventures and new global journeys.
– New five star swordsman Dendro Alhatham and 4 star pole arm user Dendro Yaoyo.
– New limited time mode for the card game
– Free claim rewards including a total of 13 intertwined fates, Lisa’s new outfit, and a 4-star Liyue character upon completing certain events.
– Kamisato Ayaka’s new outfit is available in the shop at a discount for a limited time.
Genshin Impact is now available on PS4, PS5, PC, Android and iOS devices.
