Games company Bungie is apparently working alongside Sony on “a number of unannounced projects,” according to Bungie’s senior design chief Tom Farnsworth.
The revelation was made through a tweet that featured Farnsworth’s experience at Bungie.
And with Sony’s support, we are also working on a number of unannounced projects. Come join us!
Also, I’m obviously missing a medal, my kids played with the shield a while back and I’m still looking for it, lol.

Along with the candid announcement, Farnsworth also brings up how Bungie has transitioned as a game studio from a company making boxed games to live service games during Bungie’s lifetime. For reference, Bungie has worked on games like the Marathon series as well as the first three games of the popular Halo franchise.
These days, Bungie’s is currently focused on Destiny 2, their live-action looter shooter that has received multiple expansions since its launch in 2017. It’s getting another expansion, Lightfall, on February 28th.
Bungie hasn’t really announced anything outside of Destiny 2, but they did mention back in 2019 that they were going to introduce a new non-Destiny game by 2025. It’s 2023 now, and even though that date is getting closer, there’s still plenty of time for Bungie to reveal anything other than A new Destiny 2 expansion.
