Just yesterday, Respawn released the Spellbound Collection Event patch for Apex Legends. While this should mean players have new things to earn in the game, it also resulted in connection issues that have yet to be resolved, as Apex Legends reports are still appearing today, January 11, 2023.

On the game’s subreddit, multiplayer players are still reporting connection issues with some being able to connect, but matches taking ages to work.

On Twitter, Respawn announced that they are aware of the issues and are investigating it:
We are aware that some players are having problems connecting to @PlayApex Serving now / Returning to the lobby. We are working on a fix and will reply to this tweet with updates as we have them. Thanks for your patience while we sort this out.

It is not known at this time if this patch is server side or if players will be required to download a new patch for it. Once we know more and if there are any further updates from the studio, we’ll make sure to let our readers know by updating this article.
