Those on PlayStation platforms, the Apex Legends 1.000.029 patch preload is live, and that’s the data for the Celestial Sunrise Collection event launching tomorrow, January 24th. Players should be able to download the patch, but won’t be able to install it until tomorrow.

The actual patch notes haven’t been released by Respawn yet, but we do know what’s coming in terms of new content.

● Hardcore Royale LTM – the last mode for a limited time gives players a chance to show themselves as a legend among legends, with a limited HUD, a ring that starts with maximum damage, no EVO Armor or helmets, no armor replacement and above all, no mercy.
● Event Items – Players can see themselves in a whole new light with a chance to unlock 24 limited-time cosmetics, including legendary skins Lactan, Pathfinder, Caustic, Ash and more. Additional items can be earned with the event’s rewards track, and players who unlock all 24 cosmetics before the event ends will receive a “Jadedate Reward”, a new Reactive Peacekeeper skin.
